Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Lead weekly staff meetings
- Develop, train, and coach staff to ensure goals are met
- Supervise the implementation of all work instructions and completion of records
Production
- Coordinate raw materials for machining and wheel/tire pour lines
- Partner with Scheduling, Purchasing, and other Managers to complete production
- Ensure product quality
Process Evaluation and Enhancement
- Review daily reports to ensure operational performance compared to team objectives
- Drive continuous improvement activities that evaluate production systems and processes to optimize production efficiency, quality, and cost
- Report on production metrics during morning meetings and advise on needed changes to the process or schedule
Qualifications:
- 2 or 4 yr. College degree preferred
- 4+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing, CNC, or machining environment
- Experience in ISO training and continuous improvement training (root cause analysis preferred)
- General manufacturing skills: measuring tools and blueprint reading
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- OSHA Compliance Training preferred
